Psalmist- Melody L. Allen was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri and from a small child until adulthood loved music. Melody joined the children’s choir at the tender age of seven and has been singing for God ever since.
At the tender age of twelve Melody began writing songs, She owe this gift to God. At the age of 14 she joined a singing group within her local church called “Believing Youth Ministering in Song” ( BYMIS), including St. Louis’s very own Melanie Covington, and family.
The idea of belonging in a singing group inspired her even more to continue not only writing but providing background vocals for various Artists. Melody’s experience with St. Louis local talent includes; Danita Mumford, Leeora Daniels and “ The Voices of Praises ” including “Cee Cee, Tavy and Cuddles.”, “The Joyfulettes,” and others under the direction of Jake Houston. She recently joined Alina Jusine with “Local Artists Coming Together” (L.A.C.T.), and the “Gospel Music Worship of America” (St. Louis/ East St. Louis Chapter).
On January 8th 2009, Melody was interviewed by D.J. “Steven J. Love”, on Gospel Radio Station 920 am WGNU. She recently performed with various St. Louis Artists who united together in a benefit concert for the nation of Haiti which was a major success.
All of her Songs are Copyrighted, She is also affiliated with BMI Publishing, Inc. and The Harry Fox Agency.
Melody is currently recording her first CD, “The Melody Allen Project”, with producer Robert Story which will be released by the Winter of 2011.
Melody’s dream is to have artists, groups, and choirs record the many songs I’ve written.
May God’s Love Abound

There are many artists on our site -- perhaps you could see if there are those that you would be interested in submitting music to. This is a networking site and I'm glad you signed up. I would like to hear even one of the songs that you have pre-recorded. Perhaps I can help with your aspirations. Consider emailing an MP3 to email@example.com and we can go from there.
